Premios el Josco 2025

"El Josco 2025" is a celebration of resilience, heritage, and leadership within the Puerto Rican and Hispanic community. Inspired by Abelardo Díaz Alfaro’s iconic story, where the josco (bull) symbolizes perseverance against adversity, this award honors leaders who embody that same strength today.

The bold bull figure represents determination and courage, while the fused glass centerpiece—deep cobalt blue with bursts of energy—symbolizes vision, creativity, and the spirit of those who uplift and empower their communities. The geometric base provides balance and stability, reminding us that true progress is built through both strength and wisdom.

As the artist, my purpose was not just to design an award, but to create a lasting emblem of cultural pride and community advancement.
